A greyhound trainer by trade, Chud has been around the Sydney
music scene for the past eight decades. From humble beginnings in the 1930's,
where his first band was reportedly called "Shitfight", he has carved a niche in
the modern world of drumming, drinking and rooting. He has a distinct
drumming style, which has been described as 'country and western and suburbs'.
He won the Newtown 'Best Guy Award' in 1974, 1975 and again in 1997
(pictured above) where he pipped Bud Muffett on a countback.
Undoubtably though, the highlight of his career was playing
Jesus as a teenager in the David Williamson play
"Jesus as a Teenager".

Chud has played in The Whiteliners,
Carbunkle Shack, Big Daddy Roy, Panacea and others.
